2024 Charity Tee

This year's Charity Tee was designed by Elizabeth Heller, the winner of our 2024 Charity Tee Design Contest! Elizabeth is a freelance graphic designer, educator, and coffee lover, who says of her Charity Tee Design:

"Rebel Dog has been one of my favorite places to study, meet up with friends, and is my go-to coffee bean spot. Because of this, I decided to make a design that incorporated coffee roasting, as well as Rebel Dog's community outreach by illustrating dogs driving a coffee roaster/cafe bike. The entire design is a play on motorcycles, while being the least intimidating group of doggie baristas you've ever met!"

We loved Elizabeth's playful take on a usually rough 'n tumble concept, which felt very reflective of Rebel Dog itself, and especially how she incorporated everything from roasting to brewing and serving coffee to all on the bike. This year, a portion of proceeds from all Charity Tees sold will be donated to Save the Children.

My name is Elizabeth Heller (she/her), and I'm an award-winning digital and graphic designer based out of Connecticut. I'm a proud alumna of the University of Connecticut, where I earned my B.F.A, B.S., and M.A. Currently pursuing freelance work, I've been creating branding materials and murals/printed art for local businesses. As a creative, tenacious, and thoughtful graphic designer, I am specifically passionate about visual storytelling and creating brand personas. With each project, I approach it as if meeting a new person, eager to understand its unique qualities, which I then use to create designs and materials that resonates deeply with my clients' company and customers.

My enthusiasm drives me to push boundaries and explore innovative solutions, while my tenacity ensures that I persevere through challenges to deliver exceptional results. With a thoughtful approach, I strive to infuse every design with purpose and meaning, creating impactful visuals that captivate audiences and leave a lasting impression. I'm an enthusiastic team player, who loves to create for and with others.

In my free time I love to try out new recipes, play the trombone, spend time with friends and family, and go on hikes. Bonus fun facts! Cereal is my go-to late night snack, and my favorite Mario Kart character is Koopa Troopa!

We recommend washing all shirts/sweatshirts inside out in cold water on a gentle cycle and hanging to dry (or tumble drying on the lowest setting possible) in order to preserve the colors and integrity of the screen printed artwork.

This year, we'll be donating proceeds from our Charity Tee to Save the Children, as they work both throughout the United States and globally in the hardest-to-reach places, where it’s toughest to be a child. The scale of crisis in the world has increased exponentially in recent years. There are more children living in conflict and war zones now than at any time in the past 20 years, as well as more child refugees. Natural disasters are not only more frequent, but more severe. As always, children in crisis are among the most vulnerable.

During the months of March and April, our Round Up & Give campaign at all Rebel Dog locations will also benefit Save the Children.
