POSITION
Part Time Barista: ~16-24 hours/week, Saturday and Sunday availability/shifts required
$16.94/hour plus tips, with paid training, free coffee/tea drinks during shifts, shift meal, 50% employee discount, and educational opportunities in the coffee shops and at the roastery.
FARMINGTON HOURS:
- MONDAY-FRIDAY:Â 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- SATURDAY-SUNDAY:Â 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Closing shifts typically last until an hour past closing, and opening shifts begin one hour before open. Midday shift timing can vary.
ABOUT YOU
We would love to hear from anyone who is passionate about specialty coffee and eager to start or grow their career in the industry. Previous barista experience is great, but not necessarily required for the right candidate, as all new hires will receive barista training. Experience in a fast-paced food service environment is strongly preferred. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with excitement for coffee (and a desire to learn more about it), as well as excellent customer service, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well with the rest of the team, including the kitchen staff, to ensure efficient and thorough service.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Baristas are trained on all front of house duties. The following are required to be executed in a safe and sanitary manner:
Customer Service & POS: At the point of sale, baristas are responsible for taking food and beverage orders efficiently and thoroughly, and engaging with customers in a friendly manner. As our customers’ first point of contact, baristas will be prepared to answer questions, make suggestions, and draw attention to any new, seasonal, or special offerings.
Drink Preparation:Â Baristas will be trained in and responsible for preparing all beverages offered at Rebel Dog, from brewing batch coffee to crafting specialty espresso drinks, all alternative drinks, and French presses and pour overs.
Food Running/Online Order Fulfilment:Â Baristas at this location are responsible for running and handing off completed food orders from the kitchen to dine in, take out, and online ordering customers.
Float/Support & Cafe Maintenance:Â All front of house staff are responsible for maintaining the order and cleanliness of the cafe space by wiping tables, sweeping, collecting dirty dishes, and monitoring garbage bins, as well as assisting on the espresso and manual brew bars, or assisting at the POS with drink and pastry fulfillment or coffee brewing.
